Troup Partridge
Upon law school graduation, he moved back to SC and was a Circuit Court law clerk to the late Honorable Wyatt T. Saunders, Jr. After his clerkship with Judge Saunders, he took a position as Assistant Attorney General with the SC Attorney General’s Office. Mr. Partridge was assigned statewide jurisdiction for the prosecution of all Sexually Violent Predators. After many successful cases to his credit, he was promoted from the General Prosecution section to the State Grand Jury division.
After his years at the Attorney General’s Office, he entered into the private practice of law, eventually forming the PARTRIDGE LAW FIRM, PA. While in private practice, he has remained active in South Carolina Bar activities and committees and has served as past Treasurer, Secretary, and President of the Newberry County Bar Association.
In addition to his membership in the U.S. Court of Federal Claims Bar Association, the South Carolina Bar, and the Newberry County Bar Association, Attorney Partridge is a member of the South Carolina Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers and has been a member of the American Bar Association, and past member of the American Association of Trial Lawyers, and the S.C. Trial Lawyers Association. Mr. Partridge has served as a member of the SC Bar’s Ethics Advisory Committee and Professional Responsibility Committee, as well as being appointed to the SC Bar's Drone Task Force. He is admitted to practice in all Courts, both State and Federal.

Some things you may not know about Mr. Partridge:
He is a former SC State Champion in skeet shooting. At the collegiate level, Mr. Partridge shot competitively for a number of years and has been recognized in the past for his achievements in a nationally circulated magazine. He even once, as a titleholder, received an invitation to compete at the World Shoot Championship.
Additionally, and perhaps a better-known fact, Mr. Partridge is an FAA-licensed Commercial Pilot who holds single and multi-engine ratings, an instrument rating, a complex aircraft rating, and a high altitude endorsement, with international flight experience.
Mr. Partridge is a Master Mason and is a member of both Masonic lodges, Sandy Valley #17 and Amity Lodge #87. He is a Life Member of the Association of Citadel Men.
Mr. Partridge is an attorney with many successful cases to his credit. He graduated from High School in 1994 and went on to receive his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Political Science from The Citadel in 1998. Mr. Partridge, upon graduation, attended the Appalachian School of Law located in Grundy, Virginia, and received his Juris Doctor degree in 2002. While in law school, he was active in the student body associations and the Federalist Society. He was a member of the mock trial team and a Legal Research Assistant for the Dean.
